Shonen Knife's Drummer Stops Band Activities

Etsuko, drummer of female punk-rock trio Shonen Knife, has announced that she will stop her activities after their concert in Osaka on March 20th.
According to a message posted on the group's official website, Etsuko says that she decided to step back from the group to deal with personal problems and to not interfere with their activities. Once she has dealt with her issues, she plans to return to the band.
Shonen Knife will start a short tour to promote their January album Free Time on March 13th. The final performance of the tour - and also last concert with Etsuko before her activity pause - will be held at Juuzou FANDANGO, in Osaka, on March 20th.related artists: Shonen Knife
