Despite the fact that Versailles has only recently began their career, the band has already received a lot of attention from various media and an ever-growing number of fans not only in Japan, but overseas as well.

The band's ensemble is made up of well-known figures in the visual kei scene, such as KAMIJO (ex-LAREINE), who created the band's concept of "The absolute youshikibi (beauty of form) sound and extremes of aestheticism." This concept is represented by beautiful costumes, theatrical acts, and music which is best described as melodic metal, heavy but melodic music that is performed by the members of Versailles with excellent skill.
