metronome recently announced that they are going on an indefinite pause after their one-man concert at Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall on May 31st. The band thanks their fans for the support, especially during their 10th anniversary projects, as well as the live house staff, event organizers and general media.

boogieman's Official Start at Clash Against Commercialism

boogieman is making its official start! With a lineup consisting of Yuana (ex-kagerou), Akira and Bansaku (ex-baroque), Yuichiro (ex-metronome) and Junno (ex-beaU), the band performed behind a curtain, revealing only silhouettes at an event at C.C. Lemon Hall in December, but are now making themselves known. Not only is the band officially starting activities, but they are also participating in Clash Against Commercialism in New York on April 6th.

Fans of the indies scene have two new singles look forward to when the summer sun begins to wind down. Now with only three band members, metronome will release a new single on August 8th. The title is currently unknown and like most releases, it will come in two editions; the limited edition will be released with a DVD.

New Releases from metronome, Phantasmagoria, and RENTRER EN SOI

In happier visual-kei news, both metronome and Phantasmagoria will be releasing live DVDs and Rentrer en Soi will be releasing a new maxi-single.
metronome's DVD will be of a concert from their oneman tour held over the winter and will be released on April 11th at the cost of 6,300yen. Phantasmagoria's live DVD, limited to 5000 copies, will be of their performance held recently on February 23rd and will be released on April 25th.

Good news for the fans of Metronome and its' member's side projects:
Metronome will be releasing a new single on May 2nd entitled Boku sonzaisetsu. It's a special release which will only be for sale at their May 2nd concert or through mail order. The single will contain one brand new song, a song that has only been available previously on an omnibus album as well as a re-recorded version of an old song.
Sharaku's side project, Floppy will also be releasing a new album on May 31st. It will contain seven tracks and the title will be Sine Wave Orchestra.related artists: FLOPPY metronome

With Sharaku and Riu taking on their own solo projects, metronomes guitarist, Fukusuke, is trying to strike out on his own too. ADAPTER。 accompanied by the "Shit brave men" are as follows:
- Shin Numakura (guitarist of Guruguru Eigakan),
- Akira Suefusa (drummer of Barbell),
- Riu (bassist of metronome),
- ReBORN (computer & programming).
Their first single, Iki will be released on April 5th, containing five tracks costing 1500 ¥. This CD will be pre-sold at their live on March 11th at Club Aisia (Tokyo Shibuya).
