Tokami are one of the few representatives of an old-school visual kei style. They are one of the more popular bands in the Tokyo underground indies scene, making their fans especially happy with regular distribution of a large number of demo-releases.
In spite of the number of member changes the band has gone through, their style has stayed rather consistent. Their visuals are dark and elaborate with music that is at once heavy and aggressive, and at the same time melodic and moving, and with contribution of the latest vocalist, Agato's dark voice, Tokami have attained an even more unique sound.
