The music of pop-rock quartet AciD FLavoR includes both mellow and aggressive tracks, but all songs have a strong focus on the melody. Their main songwriter and guitarist Ryo has been influenced by progressive rock of the 70's, new romantic of the 80's, industrial and grunge rock from the 90's, and so on. He dubs their music "new mixture rock resulting from the essence of the past."

For the past few years, the band has gained some recognition with contributions to game soundtrack. The group from Saitama is not only focusing on the Japanese market, but also has their eye firmly fixed on the European continent where they have performed occasionally since 2008.
